In a shocked moved, Daiso is closing down one of their outlets at VivoCity. This came to light when Daiso posted this signage outside VivoCity storefront.
Everyone in Singapore loves Daiso for it’s cheap and useful products. Daiso is a household name that everyone love.
This is what they say on their signage:
“Dear valued customers,
We regret to inform you that we will be closing down one of our shops. We apologize for any inconvenience caused.
Last day on 17th February 2018 until 10.00pm
We thank you for your continuous support!”
Daiso probably required to move out of VivoCity to make way for a library that will be opening in 2018.
Daiso is opening another outlet at the 100AM mall at Tanjong Pagar on Feb. 1, 2018. If you need to go, the address is at 100 Tras Street #04-16 Singapore 079027.

Huawei will be selling their phones at $54 to Singaporeans who are aged 50 and above from 26 to 28 July 2019
Huawei has been in the news a lot recently for multiple reasons, both good and bad.
However, we have some good news for you this time around!
In celebration of Singapore’s 54th birthday, Huawei will be having a promotion for their Y6 Pro 2019 model, which will be going for just $54 (U.P. $54).
There is a catch though: you have to be aged 50 and above.
The promotion will be from 26 July 2019 (Friday) to 28 July 2019 (Sunday) and the colours that are available on offer are Midnight Black and Amber.
You can get your hands on this insanely good deal at any of Huawei’s concept stores in Singapore as well as selected Challenger and Courts outlets.
The phones will be available while stocks last so if you are of age and you’ve been eyeing this phone model for quite some time, we recommend that you get your hands on it ASAP before it’s too late!

MacDonald’s To Launch New Snoopy x NASA Happy Meal Toys From July 18
Are you a Peanuts or Snoopy fan? You’re going to want to listen up if you are.
Fast-food chain, MacDonald’s, has recently announced that they will be releasing a collection of Snoopy x NASA Happy Meals toys from July 18 onwards.
The collaboration was first spotted on a poster outside the establishment by Singapore Atrium Sale Facebook page.
For those thinking that this collaboration is rather random, Peanuts Worldwide and NASA have been collaborating since the 1960s when they partnered in NASA’s safety and human space flight awareness program.
So this project is not unsurprising.
The toys will be released in the typical fashion of Happy Meal toys. There will be two released per week with the purchase of a Happy Meal. This is the schedule:
- 18 – 24 July: Space Swirler and Dance Mover
- 25 – 31 July: Space Plane and Telescope
- 1 – 7 August: Re-entry Capsule and Space Buggy
- 8 – 14 August: Rocket Propeller and Take-off Launcher

Reebok has recently collaborated with BAIT — popular streetwear and sneaker retail store — and Disney Pixar to release a new pair of super epic sneakers that are inspired by Buzz Lightyear and Woody.
The mismatched, chunky sneakers are an iteration of their Reeboks popular Instapump Fury series. The left side is dressed up in a colour scheme of purple and green after Buzz Lightyear with the word “LIGHTYEAR” stamped at the outer side of the shoe.
The right side, on the other hand, comes clad in the signature colours of Woody the Sheriff with black and white cow patterns, light blue denim touches and mid-western dragonfly motifs on the tongue tab and heel pull referencing his iconic neckerchief.
Only a handful of these limited edition kicks are up for grabs so if you’re a die-hard fan, you better get your hands on these before it’s too late! Sneaker junkies, the same goes for you. Even if you’re not a fan of the movie, these sneakers are pretty rad and we are sure that they’ll turn heads!
