Are you a Peanuts or Snoopy fan? You’re going to want to listen up if you are.
Fast-food chain, MacDonald’s, has recently announced that they will be releasing a collection of Snoopy x NASA Happy Meals toys from July 18 onwards.
The collaboration was first spotted on a poster outside the establishment by Singapore Atrium Sale Facebook page.
For those thinking that this collaboration is rather random, Peanuts Worldwide and NASA have been collaborating since the 1960s when they partnered in NASA’s safety and human space flight awareness program.
So this project is not unsurprising.
The toys will be released in the typical fashion of Happy Meal toys. There will be two released per week with the purchase of a Happy Meal. This is the schedule:
- 18 – 24 July: Space Swirler and Dance Mover
- 25 – 31 July: Space Plane and Telescope
- 1 – 7 August: Re-entry Capsule and Space Buggy
- 8 – 14 August: Rocket Propeller and Take-off Launcher
Make sure you head down early and grab them before they run out of stock!

Jewel Changi Airport to house A&W, Shake Shack, Pokemon Centre, and more
Singapore’s no stranger to iconic buildings, from the luxury haven that’s Marina Bay Sands and dream wedding venue (thanks, Crazy Rich Asians) that’s CHIJMES. Introducing our future favourite multi-destination space, Jewel Changi Airport.
The highly anticipated 10-storey complex, which began construction three years ago, will open its doors to public the first half of next year. Boasting a dome-shaped facade and indoor waterfall, this mall isn’t like any other shopping centre in town. It’s bigger, and better.
For starters, expect a string of prominent local and international brands, such as Shaw Theatres, Nike (their biggest Southeast Asia store to date!), and Tiger Beer. A&W will also make a comeback, with a first-of-a-kind menu consisting of coney dogs, curly fries, and not forgetting their all-time favourite root beer float.
Popular New York burger chain Shake Shack will make its way here for the first time, and fans can look forward to its signature items such as the Shackburger and Shack-cago Dog.
Here’s one worth travelling all the way to Jewel for: a Pokemon Centre. Not only will it be the game franchise’s only permanent retail store outside Japan, fans can also find exclusive merchandise created just for Jewel.
Also, if you haven’t savoured local chef Violet Oon’s creations, here’s your chance. The doyenne of Nyonya cooking will open her largest restaurant to date, offering delicacies such as dry laksa.
Here’s a list of brands that’s confirmed to be opening in Jewel, and they’re just a fraction of the exciting more to come:
- Shake Shack
- Xiao Bin Lou
- Yu’s Kitchen
- Peruvian restaurant Tonito
- Norwegian fast-casual restaurant Pink Fish
- Violet Oon Singapore
- Tiger Beer
- Shaw Theatres
