Life is busy. Most of the time we can’t leave our desks because we’ve got so much work to complete.
Lunch break? Nah. We dabao our cai png to the office and eat with our eyes glued to the screen. Then we head home after a long day to sleep.
That’s not really healthy. Where’re the three days of exercise per week Health Promotion Board recommends?
If it’s a matter of convenience, or you just feel embarrassed working out at a public gym, check this gym in a box out.

The Gym Pod is Singapore’s first 24 hour automated container gym, located at Ayer Raja Crescent.
This yellow metal box houses all the equipment you need to get that great workout. In it, you’ll find a treadmill, dumbbell rack and guided weight-plate-loaded bar (Smith Machine).

You’ll be able to get your heart pumping and sweat flowing in the privacy of this little pod! No more worrying about hogging the machines or whether other gym goers are judging you (usually, no one is).
Even better, you can invite two friends along to maximise this workout space. The maximum capacity of the container is three people.

All you’ve got to do is a book a slot on their website or mobile app (which will be launched soon). You’ll receive a unique passcode for the gym’s door, and you’re on your way to hopping on the gains train.

It’s pretty affordable, with prices starting from $4.17 an hour. Check out their packages as well. We’re hoping this creative initiative takes off. We could all use a little more exercise.
